Sharon Adamy

Pastel Painter 

Sharon Adamy is a signature member of the Pastel Society of New Mexico and a long time resident of Alto, NM.  Her work has received numerous awards from competitions in Kansas, Illinois, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. Adamy’s brightly colored pastels are mostly street and market scenes and are layered with stroke upon stroke of pastel lending kinetic energy to each piece.  Lately, Adamy is painting still lives of fruit, vegetables, and anything else she finds around the house and attempting to do a painting a day when time permits.
