Carol Hale Watercolor Painting Carol LeCrone Hale is a native Texan who has lived in California, South Carolina, North Carolina, Delaware, Oklahoma, New Mexico, France, Switzerland and Singapore. Her degree and work experience are in Computer Science. After moving back to Houston in 1990, she began painting in watercolors. She has studied with several well-known and nationally recognized local artists including Karen Vernon, Hilary Page, Barbara Clay, Carol Slobin, and Harold Phenix. She has also taken workshops from other nationally known artists including Gerald Brommer, Milford Zornes, Judi Betts, Jean Grastorf, Michael Schlicting, Judy Morris, Carlo O’Connor, Jim Kosvanec and Cheng Khee Chee. Carol has shown her work in galleries, offices and in many juried shows, including the Taos National Exhibition. She has won several first place awards in exhibitions at the Watercolor Art Society of Houston. Her work was published in the March 1995 issue of the Houston Life Magazine and in Watercolor Magic, Summer 2000. Carol is a member of The Watercolor Society of Houston where she served as President during the 1998-1999 term
