Anita Keegan

Anita Keegan lives in the Sacramento Mountains where she enjoys painting wildlife such as bears and deer.  She has a natural talent of bringing out the beauty, gentleness and detail of these animals that we would otherwise miss.  She also captures the wide, breathtaking views of the New Mexico landscape with a fresh perspective, creating dreamlike works.  Her works of art are carefully executed using oils, pastels or watercolor. 

Anita, who is retired from nursing, always dreamed of becoming a painter and living in the high country.  Now she’s able to do both.  She has always had a passion for art and wildlife, and believes that one of her greatest joys is creating art from the things she loves the most.
