Dee Wescott

Dee Wescott’s paintings combine realism with expressionism and abstraction.  Often described as a “painterly painter”, she has been painting over 35 years.  Subject matter varies from music, figures, landscapes, interiors, with design being of major importance.  Her paintings are not imitations, but more an emotional response to an idea, combined with the creative use of materials.

She is a signature member of both American Watercolor Society and National Watercolor Society, along with many others.  She is an award-winning artist having been in over 100 national exhibitions, where she has received awards in over half of them.  Her work has hung in many prestigious museums and galleries, along with being included in numerous private and corporate collections.  Various books and art magazine have also included her images.
